Cleaning the bathroom isn’t one of the most exciting things to do. The sparkle of lime scale-free taps and a spotless shower screen can feel very good, but it takes time and effort for this to be done.
Give yourself a head start
While you handle the other tasks, squirt toilet cleaner around the edge of the toilet and watch it do its magic. Bring a toilet brush with firm bristles and scrub the bowl well before flushing. Pour a cup of bicarbonate of soda down the bowl to neutralize odours (preferably once a week) or install an in-cistern cleaner to sanitize it after each use. After cleaning the handle with a disinfectant, give it five minutes to work before drying.
Scrub mildew with a dish brush
A fresh dish brush is all you need to remove mildew or surface mould from your bathroom. To make a mould-busting cleanser, it is advised to mix six cups of warm water with a quarter cup of bleach.
Get rid of mould stains with baking soda.
Use baking soda and water to make a paste, then apply to that difficult mould and mildew stains that your dish brush and bleach solution can’t remove. The paste should be applied over the discolouration for three to four hours.
Squeegee your bathroom window
If you’re having trouble cleaning the window in your bathroom with your regular glass cleaner. Instead, using a squeegee can assist in keeping those panes clear and spotless.
Rub the lemon over chrome to wipe off water spots
Water stains are inevitable in areas where water is continually flowing (such as the shower and the sink), but removing them is surprisingly easy and inexpensive. Apply lemon over your tarnished chrome fittings, and the troublesome stains should vanish immediately. Additionally, utilizing citrus as a cleaner will cover up any offensive odours.
Restore your mirror’s shine with black tea
To know how you look before leaving the house, you want your bathroom mirror to be immaculate, but all too frequently, it is clouded with water stains, dust, and other dirt. To clean your cloudy mirror, blend a cup of boiling water with a few bags of black tea, let it cool, and then use the resulting solution. Tea’s tannic acid will remove any debris, leaving you with a surface that is immaculate and untruthful.
